A small celebration took place recently to mark the 80th birthday of Fr Jones and he reminisced about his youth on two visits to local schools. Disappointment for Sliabh Aughty drama Group re cancellation of the circuit for 2020 but looking forward to a proposed event in Glor in November and news on a local shop opening Saturday, Sunday and Monday catering to people when some other premises may be closed.
