In this episode Sasha chats with Lala Rosado, Warrior Mom of 2, survivor of over 15 years of severe child mental, physical, emotional, and sexual abuse at the hands of her “parents", and now a Child Sexual Assault Awareness Educator and #NotOurKids Advocate.

Lala desires to change the way we have “the talk” with our kids and normalize body autonomy, sexual abuse education, and putting a stop to “you’re too young to understand!". Lala says, "If they are curious enough to ask the question they are old enough for the truth."

Sasha felt it was a very timely season to release this tough conversation episode considering that the holiday season is when we have a tendency to be around friends and family and the alarming statistic that 93% of predators are KNOWN to the survivor & the families.

Sasha & Lala discuss personal experiences, statistics, red flag warning signs, resources, and how to prepare yourself and parent your children well to reduce their chances of falling prey to groomers.
