We talk about the ideological origins of DOGE, some of the characters that make up the group, and what Elon’s other business strategies suggest about the true purpose of the department. We also talk about the political uses of austerity in the American context,  how this ultimately serves to benefit a more power hungry Silicon Valley, and the need to dismantle American control of the internet itself.
