To discover you, you first have to know your maker, Your maker is:
Jehovah Jireh- Our Provider – (Genesis 22:14) “The Lord will Provide”
Jehovah Shalom – Our Peace - (John 14:27) Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
Jehovah Rapha – Our Healer (Psalm 30:2) “Lord my God, I called to you for help,
and you healed me.”
Elohim – God is our creator - (Genesis 1:1-26) God created us in His image & likeness
El Shaddai – God is almighty – Jeremiah (32:27) Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?
Jehovah Raah – (Psalm 23)The Lord is our Shepherd
Abba Father – God is our Daddy – (Romans 8:15) For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
El Elyon – Gods is sovereign, most high- (Revelations 4:11) “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.”
El Roi – The God who sees – nothing is hidden from God (Genesis16:13) ” Then she called the name of the LORD who spoke to her, You-Are- the-God-Who-Sees; for she said, “Have I also here seen Him who sees me?”
A person of Faith has Great Advantage – states Mark Grungor
Your Identity is in Christ – When you know who God is, it enables you to identify yourself. God created mankind in His image, both male and female He created them. (Genesis 1:27)
Searching your heart – self reflection day 8-9
Cultivating a heart of goodness through giving– Refer to day 10 for inspiration.
As iron sharpen iron, so a friend lifts you up – refer to day 11 for inspiration.
Faith advantage – Having faith opens the door to your identity, purpose and future. Refer to day 12.
Personal Identity – Who do you say you are? Refer to journal guide day 13-14 for inspiration on identity!
(Galatians 2:20) “I am crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself up for me.”
Have faith in God. Faith helps you answer 3 important life’s questions Who you are? Why are you here? and Where you are going? Mark Grungor
(Ephesians 3:17)“That Christ may make His home in your hearts through faith, that you, being rooted and grounded in love.”
Having faith helps you to overcome the accuser and persecutor of our faith. Satan uses intimidation, worry, fear to create confusion about our identity which impacts our purpose in life.
Lamentations 3:25 “The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, To the soul who seeks Him.” Wait on the Lord and you will discover your identity, purpose and future end state. (Jeremiah 29.11)
