Air passengers whose flights have been cancelled need to be dealt with better. And they need to be told how they’re going to be looked after. They’re some of the demands being made by the European Parliament. Ryanair got a bashing in the Parliament last night when MEPs vented steam over its recent bungling of cancelled flights. During a heated debate, MEPs pointed out that passengers had not received complete information on compensation. And they accused Ryanair of not providing the full range of re-routing options available to customers. The Fine Gael MEP Mairead McGuinness says Ryanair needs to take stock of its mistakes.
