Episode 20 - Interview with ´The Anxiety Guy´- Dennis Simsek

This week I interview Dennis Simsek. Dennis  is an author, speaker, and host of the Anxiety Guy Podcast where he shares his knowledge and experiences on dealing with anxiety. The podcast received the Best of iTunes award in the health category due to its commitment to helping people overcome anxiety and improving every aspect of their lives. 

 

Dennis has a really interesting story to share, being someone who struggled with anxiety in the past, he really understands the everyday difficulties of dealing with anxiety problems. We discuss his past as a professional tennis player and how anxiety impacted his career. We delve into how he was able to overcome anxiety and look in detail at some of the tools that he used to do that, such as NLP and CBT. We discuss what keeps people trapped in anxiety and the differences between working with a coach opposed to a therapist.
