Federica Borlenghi
Federica is an Italian Writer, Creative Producer and Director based in Brooklyn. Since she moved to NYC, she has been dedicating her attention in the development of new plays. Federica is fascinated by the idea of bringing stories to life for the first time and to closely collaborate with their creators to represent their ideas as accurately as possible. She particularly seeks for work that includes multiple performative elements - such as music, dance and technology - and stories that investigate language, similarities and differences between cultures and the way that traumas influence and impact personality and relationships. Federica is the Co-Founder and Co-Artistic Director of HERE WE GO, a site-specific production company, whose mission is to provide early-career NYC based artists with an opportunity to develop and showcase their creativity and multi-disciplinary talents. Federica graduated with a BFA in Dramatic arts (‘19) from the New School for Drama with focus in Directing & Playwriting.

Et Alia Theater
Et Alia Theater is an artistic organization founded and led by international women. They strive to create an accepting space that inspires artists to create beyond their comfort zones and collide with an array of international voices which may be culturally unfamiliar. Et Alia is Latin for ‘And Other’: They are inspired to create art for the other, by the other, and about the other.

MARIA MÜLLER (Co-Artistic Director)
Maria is a Romanian artist based in NYC. She graduated from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts with a major in Drama and a minor in Dance. She is interested in making art that tells important stories and she is eager to create plays, films, dance pieces etc. that give voice to womxn and international people. Her most recent projects include Running in Place, directed by Isabella Uzcátegui, the feature film Queen Marie of Romania, directed by Alexis Cahill Sweet and the short film Where Are You from Again? written and produced by her and directed by Benjamin Freemantle.

GIORGIA VALENTI (Co-Artistic Director)
Giorgia expresses her passion for storytelling through acting, dancing, choreographing, singing and modeling. She is also excited to follow her new writing instinct. Giorgia is a rising senior in the Drama program at Tisch School of the Arts and has trained at the Meisner Studio, in Commedia dell’arte, at the Experimental Theatre Wing and is now looking forward to starting at the Lee Strasberg Institution. She is also pursuing a minor in Dance where she is exploring diverse dance forms. Her artistic practice is inspired by free movement, the complex relationship between home and identity as well as the use of art as a therapeutic practice for all. She also has a great passion for the history of Realism and Naturalism in European theatre. She is still energized from her run of Fiction with 600 Highwaymen as well as working with The Open Program of the Workcenter of Jerzy Grotowski and Thomas Richards on their project of HOME. As an international woman, Giorgia has worked and performed in India and Italy as well.

ANA MOIOLI (Co-Artistic Director)
Ana is a Brazilian actress, writer, and director based in New York. Her acting trajectory started in her home country at 9 years old and was later expanded to Russia, where she studied and performed at the Moscow Art Theatre School, and then the United States, where she graduated from NYU Tisch Drama. Some of her recent theater projects include Running in Place (directed by Isabella Uzcátegui at Dixon Place), Birds of a Feather (directed by Lauren Grajewski at the Take Ten Play Festival and The Secret Theater), and Veinticinco (directed by Attilio Rigotti at The Tank). She's also starred in several independent films, such as the multi-award-winning Elsewhere (directed by Guilherme Pedra), as well as How to Water Roses (directed by Mirella Cardoso) and Julieta (directed by Vicente Gonzalez). Her first play For The Time Being was recently produced at the NYWinterfest Festival, and she also debuted as a filmmaker with the film Bridge.

ISABELLA UZCÁTEGUI (Associate Artist)
Isabella is an actor, director, filmmaker, and writer. She holds a BFA in Drama and a BS in Psychology from New York University. Her artistic practice explores dance-theater, Grotowski-based training, and devised work. She has a great interest in classical texts, particularly the tension between Shakespeare’s texts and contemporary theater practices with a focus on linguistic approaches to the work. Other disciplines and research fields integral to her arts practice are psychology, genealogy, the human body as archive, oral-traditions, and Latinx community engagement. Her most recent works include Veinticino: a myth of the brain (a trilingual piece exploring memories, dreams, language, and identity), and Mujer, a short film developed in collaboration with Nine Muses Entertainment, and mentored by Mitu original member, Bryce Dallas Howard. She has collaborated as an apprentice in Theater Mitu’s productions of Death of a Salesman and Remnant. As an actor, she has performed internationally in Panama, Costa Rica, and New York City.

John, Clara, Ron, Lara, Don, Tara, Sean and Sarah are four couples who like to discuss important issues such as global warming, planned parenthood or starvation in Africa. Or do they? They might have more urgent things going on. Some might say they’re in competition, but they would surely disagree with that, because they’re very good friends! Halfway through the night, Tara disappears. Will they find her? And what is that sound, anyway?
The cast includes international actors, Cristiano Benefanti, John Blair, Martin Drop, Adam Fisher, Ana Moioli, Maria-Luiza Müller, Dylan Soal, Giorgia Valenti and Isabella Uzcátegui. Directed by Federica Borlenghi, Stage managed by Kendall DuPre, lighting design by Katherine Teed-Arthur, sound design by Austin Pogrob. This is Maria-Luiza Müller’s playwriting debut, don’t miss it!
