Morning Report 20 Apr 21: US sharemarkets eased from highs on Monday

Investors awaited key earnings results. Shares in Tesla fell 3.4% after a fatal accident was recorded for a Tesla vehicle believed to be operating in autonomous mode. Crypto stocks fell in response to a weaker Bitcoin price. Shares in Harley-Davidson rose 9.7% after the motorcycle maker raised it full-year forecast for sales growth. The Dow Jones index fell by 123 points or 0.4%. The S&P 500 index fell by 0.5%. And the Nasdaq index lost 138 points or 1.0%.
