To Bear Good Fruit

2019-03-03

A homily for the Eighth Sunday of Ordinary Time (Year C), by Father Darrin Connall: Just as it takes hard work and diligence to ensure fruit trees remain healthy to bear good fruit, so, too, must we be attentive spiritually. The vice of acedia can cripple our spiritual lives, but the practice of discipline can help them flourish. The coming season of Lent gives us a prime opportunity to renew our spiritual discipline.

Recorded live at the 11 a.m. Mass on Sunday, March 3, 2019
