M&JW: Deliverance

Constant Listener! A bit of housekeeping. You will notice this episode has again dropped on a Monday. Moving forward, Mondays seem like they are going to be our best drop days. Any minisodes will drop on Saturdays, as in "Saturday Shorts." I like "clever" alliteration I guess. 

On to the show notes. This week our spooky cinema analysis is Deliverance, starring Burt Reynolds, John Voight, Ronny Cox and Ned Beatty. It was directed by John Boorman. It may seem like a counter-intuitive selection for the spooky season but have a listen and see if we can convince you that is a proper Halloween selection. Whether we achieve success on that front or not, it is hoped that we at least convince you that this strangely thoughtful, and undeniably controversial movie (then and now) from waaaaaaay back in 1972 is worthy of you consideration in any season.
