Scot Bertram | Tesla Attacks, Cybertruck Recall, and Tariff Delay: 3 Things to Know

One — A group of people accused of destroying Tesla vehicles and charging stations will face up to 20 years in prison for domestic terrorism. That's according to U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi. The three defendants were charged for their alleged involvement in attacks in Oregon, Colorado and South Carolina.

 

Two ---- The Tesla Cybertruck is facing a recall.  This time it cannot be fixed with a software update.  The recall notice, issued by the NTSB, says there is a safety issue relating to a cosmetic panel that could fall off, creating a road hazard.

 

And number three —    The first retaliatory tariffs on U.S. goods are being delayed by the European Union.  The tariffs will now go into effect in mid-April to allow for more time for negotiations.  The EU had announced the tariffs in response to President Trump's decision to place tariffs on European aluminum and steel.
