Speaking with David Ellis of Ross Development Trust

 

We met with David Ellis of Ross Development Trust to talk about the development of West Princes Street Gardens and how that is progressing. There was an international design competition last year and a concept design is in place, but there is still some way to go with fundraising and a few other matters to agree with the council. 

 

But David was happy to pose beside the newly restored Ross Fountain which the trust spent £2 million repairing and restoring. He hopes the next phase will result in the demolition of the Ross Bandstand to be replaced by a 21st century building.
