One of the most difficult sections of the Bible to read is the section of Old Testament Prophecy. In fact, much of the material in this section is horribly misunderstood. Even the role of the OT prophet is misunderstood. This misunderstanding hinders our ability to comprehend their words and apply them into the context of our modern day.
