We focused last week on the fact that we are a chosen people, but today, let’s focus on the truth that we are change people, a holy nation. To be holy means to be set apart from the world and dedicated to God. We belong to God. Peter was saying that being a follower of Jesus makes us different from the world, different from the person we used to be. As you start to follow Jesus, you are no longer the same, you are being changed by God. The instant you yes to Jesus, and start following Him in surrender, it transforms you. Your thoughts, your desires, your priorities, your ambitions, your attitudes, your speech, your actions, your relationships – your whole life will begin to change.

Holiness is an inner transformation that takes place when we live close to God that will be evidenced outwardly in our thoughts, attitudes, actions, and our entire life.

We want to consider 3 truths today, about how we are changed -- how we are made holy.
