Tech giants must share tax burden warns von der Leyen

Global Tech giants in Europe must pay their fair share of taxes. So says the nominated president of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen.

The German Defence Minister was speaking in the European Parliament this morning ahead of a vote on her nomination later this evening.

She told MEPs she will stand for fair taxes whether for bricks and mortar industries or digital businesses.
