Young and the Restless comings and goings keep the drama buzzing. Fan-favorite Beth Maitland makes a triumphant return as Traci Abbott, bringing much-needed holiday cheer to the Abbott family.

Her arrival sees her warmly welcomed by siblings Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), as well as the mercurial Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). The Abbott family further rejoices as Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) and Ashley find common ground. The tension between Jill Abbott and Mamie Johnson (Veronica Redd) stirs intrigue, with Jill's departure from town likely once their rivalry resolves on the CBS soap opera.

Newman/Abbott fans may be thrilled by the hint of a return for Noah Newman, played by Rory Gibson, possibly to support his struggling grandmother, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). His return brings speculation of Allie Nguyen, portrayed by Kelsey Wang, reappearing from Europe.

The possibility of more screen time for Gloria Bardwell and Kevin Fisher, performed by Judith Chapman and Greg Rikaart, respectively, adds to the Christmas excitement on YR. However, Mariah Copeland, played by Cameron Grimes, will soon be absent due to maternity leave.

Meanwhile, tension looms as Colleen Zink's character, Jordan Howard, faces a showdown with Nikki on Young and Restless. Yet, Hayley Erin's character, Claire Grace, remains in the picture, receiving psychiatric help. Finally, Jay Eddie Peck's character Cole Howard remains in town, possibly reigniting an old flame with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).
