On July 6 1993, Mia Zapata, who was the talented lead singer of a Seattle band called The Gits, had been out drinking with mates. She’d had a lot of drinks, had gone over to her mate’s place before heading off into the night… Hours later her lifeless body was found in a Christ pose in Seattle’s red-light district with no clues as to her killer. What happened to Mia? How did it affect Seattle’s tight-knit music scene? And was the murderer ever found? Listen now to find out!
Michelle then talks about what happened to Hollywood actor Johnny Lewis. If you were ever a fan of The O.C or Sons of Anarchy, you might remember the pale ginger actor who played Chili on The O.C or Half Sack from Sons of Anarchy… If not, you’ll still be intrigued by this tragic case… On September 26 2012, Johnny Lewis was found dead on the driveway of the Writers’ Villa in Los Feliz in Los Angeles. He’d either fallen or jumped from the patio or roof and had died on impact. But what were the circumstances leading up to his death? And how did Johnny go from sensitive soul to murderer? Listen now to unravel the case!
