A person’s life is rather like a television sitcom. It runs full speed, filling every moment to the brim until the commercial break, when the viewers get a chance to digest what just happened and anticipate the next scene, or, make a decision to change the channel. But in real life, there is no director calling a commercial break… you must choose to take one.
These Pivotal Moments are those points where you get the chance to step outside the script you are following and decide what to do next rather than just continuing the show on auto-pilot.
When seen and properly explored, these Pivotal Moments are doorways that offer you more of anything you want (money, relationship, carer success, etc.).
Unfortunately most of us are conditioned to walk past them without noticing because often they look like messy, uncomfortable work compared to the neatness and familiarity of coloring inside the lines.
Trust me, gold is underneath and totally worth the work!
Step 1 – Identify you do want something more. (done)
Step 2 – Accept that what you want is already there for you. (hopefully you are beginning to believe this)
Step 3 – Decide to take it on. (this is where the Pivotal Moments come in)
