After Jesus’ ascension, the apostles set about deciding who would fill the space as the 12th disciple. On the surface this passage may appear rather inconsequential. However, in this talk Nick highlights how this story is key in laying the foundations of the early church movement, and in turn how this sets out the groundwork for how we listen to God and discern His will as a community.
