#86- Be True To Yourself: Oy Vey!

Do you find yourself sucked into stories desperate for the truth? Like, '“Yes, but what actually happened?” You’re not alone. The vast majority of us just want to know the truth about any given number of things. So, what is the truth?

Well…, things get a little sticky when we start hearing “versions” of the truth. Subjective truth. Hmm… sounds like a good conversation. Grab a cup and let’s chat through the first lie in our series: Did God Really Say?

"Thank you, linguistic theft or post, post-modernism, but nevertheless, here we are. Exchanging factual, objective truth for subjective truth. You see subjective truth is completely different from objective truth. Instead of being grounded in facts, evidence, and reality, subjective truth is built on opinion and perspective, on feelings and experience. Subjective truth is how the world seems to you, to me. It’s “true for me but maybe not true for you.” This is my truth. I’m living my truth. Speak your truth. But that’s some slippery ground because now we’re no longer talking about reality; we’ve entered into our perception of reality.”
