Market Close 26 Feb 18: Local shares rally to for a fourth straight session led by gains in banks

The Aussie market has lifted 42pts or 0.7% to 6,042pts to record a fourth straight session of gains. Financials contributed most with the big four banks all higher by at least 1% followed closely by energy stocks. QBE fell 3% on a US$1.25B loss.
