Serving God by Serving Others - Richard Sutton - 9/14/2025

This lesson, based on Mark 10:42-45 and related scriptures, is about flipping the script by loving your enemies, forgiving those who hurt you, and serving instead of dominating. Key concepts include: (1) following Jesus means we don’t play by world’s rules of selfishness, pride, and power; (2) being a servant with the mind of Christ; and (3) dying to self means we consider others greater than ourselves. The lesson concludes with the encouragement to reject the world’s definition of success and choose the path of service daily by following the example of Jesus.
