Market Close 28 Jan 22: Aussie market snaps 4-day losing streak

The Australian sharemarket rose by 2.2%, snapping a four-day losing streak thanks to gains across all sectors. Concerns relating to rising interest rates in 2022 however, dragged the local market 2.6% lower this holiday-shortened week.
