Morning Report 22 Nov 19 : Stocks tread water in sight of record highs

US sharemarkets fell modestly on Thursday. There were mixed reports on the US-China trade deal. Complicating the talks, the US House of Representatives passed two bills to back protesters in Hong Kong.
