  What is sin? Sin is not trusting God's love. Sin is allowing that satanic thought to get into our heads that God is not really good. That God is not really love, he's not kind, not compassionate, not limitlessly for us, that he is withholding. Sin is having a distorted image of God, an idol image out of which comes my sadness and the reason I run away from him. I'm running from an idol. The real God pursues me!
