This week I had the opportunity to sit down with Amanda White, LPC - specializing in alcohol abuse and eating disorders, founder of the Therapy for Women Center, and author of Not Drinking Tonight. Amanda shared her experience with eating disorders and substance abuse and how she got to where she is today. I learned so much during this episode and i’m so thankful Amanda took the time to share her knowledge with us.

I never realized that the link between alcohol abuse and eating disorders was so prevalent but it makes so much sense. Amanda shared some of the most common links and specific behaviors to lookout for that could be considered what Amanda labels “disordered drinking.”
