Mid-Session 28 May 19: ASX 200 advances in early trade driven by a turnaround in bank names

The local share market has risen as yesterday’s bank losses turned to gains in early trade on Tuesday. Bulk iron ore miners jumped as iron ore prices added to the gains of recent days and weeks, in turn, gains in the steel making ingredient have helped the Aussie dollar consolidate above 69 US cents.
