Our special guests for show #033 of Torque and Chatter is Australian Speedway Icon, Darcy Ward. Darcy was born with motorsport in his blood, his early years spent traveling around Australia successfully competing in Dirt Track and Speedway. In 2009 Darcy catapulted onto the international speedway scene by winning the 2009 & 2010 World Under 21 Speedway Championships. Darcy was born with motorsport in his blood, his early years spent traveling around Australia successfully competing in Dirt Track and Speedway. In 2009 Darcy catapulted onto the international speedway scene by winning the 2009 & 2010 World Under 21 Speedway Championships.

In 2015 Darcy obtained spinal injuries from a racing accident in Poland cutting short his professional racing career. After many years of rehab and adjusting to life Darcy & Liz are excited about becoming parents in 2021 and have taken on the business of promoting Speedway in QLD.

I feel very privileged to call Darcy a friend and you won't find a person that has more passion for Speedway.
