Young and the Restless, a beloved CBS soap opera, is teeming with suspense as Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) frantically attempts to prevent a disaster for his family. Spoilers for the upcoming week indicate that Devon Hamilton's (Bryton James) darkest fears may soon come to light, while Cane Ashby's (Billy Flynn) secret weapon remains under wraps. Meanwhile, fans are left on edge as the fate of Cole Howard (J Eddie Peck)
hangs in the balance.

Y&R sees the series' characters are currently stranded in France due to a storm, including Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), and Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn). Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) suspect Cane's ulterior motives to gain control over Chancellor Industries. Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) sends a clear message to her ex, Cane, that she has moved on by kissing Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers). Fears rise that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) might align with Cane against Victor, though Nikki believes Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) is a more likely candidate.

Young and Restless sees that back in Genoa City, Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) makes a secret deal with Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) and fires Damian, causing Adam to suspect foul play. Adam's attempts to relay his suspicions to his family are hindered by the storm and possible signal tampering by Cane. Devon spills his concerns to Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) about Cane's party being a distraction from a more sinister plot. Claire Grace Newman (Hayley Erin) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) rush back to Chicago to visit Cole Howard, who believes he is on the brink of death due to Legionnaires' disease.
