SHORT CUTS: ”Somewhere” (2010)

This episode of SHORT CUTS continues the theme of “Hollywood Plays Itself” with a breakdown of 2010’s SOMEWHERE, Sofia Coppola’s minimalist study of celebrity burnout. Set within the Sunset Strip’s famed Chateau Marmont, Coppola’s fourth feature film exposes the banality and emptiness underneath the so-called glitz and glamor of movie stardom.
