Saint Tarcisius: Martyr for the Eucharist

2020-09-13

A homily for the Twenty-Fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time (Year A), by Father Darrin Connall: Risking his life to smuggle the Eucharist to imprisoned Christians in the third century Roman Empire, young Tarcisius ultimately would be martyred. He embodies the words of St. Paul – “whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s” (Romans 14:8).

Recorded live at the 5 p.m. Sunday Mass, September 13, 2020
