Market Close 16 August 19: ASX 200 ends flat as investors opt for caution with ahead of the weekend

The ASX 200 ended lower by 2 points after suffering the worst selloff since June 2016 on Thursday. The biggest improvements are came from the financials, healthcare and utilities while materials and communications are among the major laggards.
