Washington Mystics CHOKE DRAFT AWAY With THREE ROLE PLAYERS in First Round!

With 3 of the first 6 picks, the Washington Mystics had a chance to make a splash. Instead, the Mystics drafted WNBA level role players in Sonia Citron, Kiki Iriafen and Georgia Amoore while leaving local star at Maryland Shyanne Sellers on the board and missing out on Serena Sundell who led the country in assists this past season. Amoore is a volume scoring point guard who will get exposed badly on the defensive side of the ball, Iriafen will come off the bench as they have a similar play in Aaliyah Edwards who is simply better than her, and Citron was the third best player on her Notre Dame team - a role player - taken with the 3rd pick in the draft. The Mystics could teach a class in how to blow it with 3 of the top 6 picks. Leave a comment!
