Morning Report 24 Feb 21: Wall St reverses early falls after Powell eases rate concerns

US were mixed overnight. The S&P 500 index erased a 1.8% drop after US Fed Chair Powell relieved some of the concerns about higher interest rates and inflation. The Dow Jones index closed up by 16 points or 0.1% after shedding 360 points at the low. The S&P 500 index rose by 0.1%, but the Nasdaq index lost 68 points or 0.5%.
