If a policeman or an FBI agent is working undercover, it is vital for him to keep his true identity a secret. But if you are a Christian, you must never try to keep your identity a secret. God wants us to boldly live out our faith as a testimony to a fallen, unbelieving world. Do you confess Jesus Christ before others, or do you try to live out your life as an undercover Christian?
