Father, From You, through You, and to You are all things! We praise You for the fact that any greatness we demonstrate doesn’t originate with us and it doesn’t terminate on us. You alone are the source, the supply, and the goal. Have mercy on me. I am a sinner. We repent of our sins and turn to You and we ask You to make our hearts clean. We repent of not seeking Your guidance. It seems easier in the moment to follow our flesh or make the decision ourselves, but it’s foolish and wicked to fail to seek direction from th...

Father,

From You, through You, and to You are all things! We praise You for the fact that any greatness we demonstrate doesn’t originate with us and it doesn’t terminate on us. You alone are the source, the supply, and the goal.

Have mercy on me. I am a sinner. We repent of our sins and turn to You and we ask You to make our hearts clean. We repent of not seeking Your guidance. It seems easier in the moment to follow our flesh or make the decision ourselves, but it’s foolish and wicked to fail to seek direction from the one true source of all wisdom!

Would You give us with the wisdom and singular mind to follow after You? Give us discernment to hear You clearly, and give us strength to obey You. Like You did in David’s 15 year wait, would you grant us the patience to endure whatever our wait looks like in Your sovereign and perfect plan?

We surrender our lives to You, Lord—every moment of our day, each decision we make, we yield our will and way to Your perfect will and way.

We love You too. Amen.
