2 Thessalonians 3:1616 Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. In the Third chapter of 2 Thessalonians, Paul speaks to the Church about how they need to pray for protection from the evil one and from evil people. He admonishes then and encourages them to live a lifestyle that is pleasing to God. He warns them against idleness and how they need to work hard and persevere. And he give his final greeting "may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way." Stand Firm

In the second chapter of 2 Thessalonians, Paul speaks to the Church about how the need to be strong and courageous and STAND FIRM in their faith. He tells them that they should be aware of people that may try to deceive them. He warns them of the man of lawlessness but gives them hope as Jesus will comeback and destroy him. He tells them to be on guard and be watchful as the end of days is drawing near. Join us this Sunday as we learn how we in the 21st Century can STAND FIRM in our faith.1. LET NO ONE DECEIVE YOU2. Heaven at the End
2 Thessalonians 1:11-12 (ESV)11 To this end we always pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling and may fulfill every resolve for good and every work of faith by his power, 12 so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.Today, we are continuing the series titled INCREASE ASSURANCE based on the books of 1st and 2nd Thessalonians. In the first chapter of 2 Thessalonians, Paul speaks to the Church about their relationship with God, as their Father and with Jesus, as their Lord. He also speaks to them about how they are to grow in the walk with Christ. Finally, he concludes by telling the church about the afflictions and persecutions they are going and makes the church aware that it is part of their Journey through and that there is “light at the end of the tunnel.” That light is Heaven at the end. He shares with the church practical life lessons on how to live according to the faith. He also expresses to them how they should prepare their hearts for the second coming of Christ. ASSURANCE OF HIS SECOND COMING
1 Thessalonians 4:1616 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.Today, we are continuing the series titled INCREASE ASSURANCE based on the books of 1st and 2nd Thessalonians. In second half 1 Thessalonians 4 and first half of 1 Thessalonians 5 Paul wrote to the church advising them that they need to be prepared and watchful for the second coming of Christ. This portion of 1 Thessalonians pertains to us as well, as we need to be ready spiritually. We see that his return will be a surprise to many of us and we need to prepare our hearts for Jesus return.
