Shame – The Scary but Rewarding Journey of Working Through Your Shadows
Links & shownotes: http://mariahfreya.com/shame-and-working-with-shadows/ Do you love uncomfortable moments so that you can work through your shit? Most people don't. By the way, shit stands there: emotional shadow, shame, fear, guilt, worries and other scary emotions. I know a few folks (but in my experience that's a rare species :-)) who love, seek or even put themselves voluntarily into uncomfortable situations so that they can work through their own stuff quicker. How do you love and accept yourself and let go of shame and guilt? That's one of the questions me and my dear friend Amitayus are asking in this week’s podcast episode. Amitayus is also one of those seekers of uncomfortable moments and he shares some powerful insights that'll kick-start your journey for walking through your shame powerfully. This is for you if you no longer want to swallow your shame down and draw the poison in, but instead want to transform and alchemize it into love. In this episode, we go into detail about: • What are the different facets of shame? • What is the Tantric perspective on shame? • What's shadow work? • Why should we start working on our shadows? • What's the best hands-on technique of dealing with shame?
What a Sexual Shaman Can Teach Us About the Moment of Orgasm
Links & Shownotes: http://mariahfreya.com/sexual-shaman I bow in awe to the world of Conscious Sexuality, because it’s a wonderful explorative space with amazing people in it. Every day I dig deeper and deeper, meeting new courageous souls. That’s how I met a true pioneer who has been on this path for decades. Namely Kenneth Ray Stubbs, Ph.D. His fascinating story starts in a semi-rural area of the American South; when he moved to San Fransisco after the days of the hippies Kenneth started to embrace his sexuality as a new way for him to transform as a human. He started teaching and studying Erotic Massage as one of the first on the scene; he produced “The Sacred Prostitute” documentary and today is a so-called Sexual Shaman and Crystal Whisperer. Ray has been studying sexual empowerment and sexual energies for so many years – that’s why he is the perfect guest for my podcast. This episode is an amazing opportunity for you to listen to the wisdom, expertise and mindblowing insights of a Sexual Shaman. In this episode, we go into detail about: • Ray’s story of how he became a sexual shaman • What is a sexual shaman? • How and where do sexuality and shamanism coincide? • What does a sexual shaman do? • How to connect with our own inner sexual shaman more • How Whispered Crystal Eggs work

Love Yourself Before You Make Love to Others
Links & Shownotes: http://mariahfreya.com/love-yourself-before-you-make-love-to-others All of us just want to be happy, right?! Unfortunately we tend to look for love and happiness on the outside. Hoping we’ll get it from others. Just as posting a selfie on Facebook can give us the confirmation that people like us, so can a Tinder date pump us full with love hormones for a night. But speaking frankly, is sex with our lover really going to make us happier, even if it’s good sex? Mostly we watch this happiness from the outside, fading away. And then we do the same thing all over again, or look for it somewhere else. But how can we get to a point where we feel loved and happy, sustainably, without the wearing off part? I have invited a beautiful guest for this podcast episode, Gini Can Breathe. She has dedicated her work to happiness and to the question of what makes us truly happy. She is a catalyst on Youtube and Snapchat, spreading her message with her fun videos, flashmobs and writings. Gini shares almost every second of her life, through Snapchat. She gives people the opportunity to see her, every day. She believes in complete transparency. Those moments she shares are authentic and come from a place of surrendering self-love. Through exploring that place she is able to show her self. This podcast is about nourishing self-love and why it’s important to love ourselves before we make love to others (and why it’s important for your orgasms too).
