The Embarrassing Gospel of Mark
The Gospel of Mark is the earliest and most mysterious narrative of Jesus. Unlike Paul’s letters, it offers an actual story, but one written as a riddle, wrapped in mystery. Though later absorbed into the New Testament, Mark has been largely misunderstood and forgotten.Matthew and Luke rewrite and reshape Mark, altering its message so much that Mark’s original voice disappears.
