25-32 Why Going To Church Can Be BAD For Your Health 😲

Aug 6th, 2025 11:00 AM

Episode 25:32 Why Going To Church Can Be BAD For Your Health 😲   Can going to Church actually be BAD for your health? Believe it or not, the answer is “Yes.” However, there’s a story behind that answer. A story that is NOT related to the teachings of the Bible. In fact, it’s just the opposite. Let me explain: The unhealthiest people in this country live in the Bible Belt. In the states with the highest percentage of Christians. Is that just a coincidence… or is there a correlation? That is, are people MORE likely to be unhealthy if they are “Church-going Christians?” The answer, surprisingly, appears to be “Yes.” On this episode I explain WHY that is… and what we can do to change it. Give this episode a good listen, especially if you are a Christian who cares about their health. And, as always, please share it with a friend.  Thanks! ———————- Want to learn more? 25-31 A Tribute to A Really Good Man

Jul 30th, 2025 11:00 AM

Episode 25:31 A Tribute to A Really Good Man   Last week was “one of those weeks” for the entertainment industry. Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Ozzy Osbourne, Hulk Hogan and Chuck Mangione all passed away. And while their deaths received a lot of attention… and deservedly so… there was another man who passed away last week. A man who wasn’t famous. A man who wasn’t wealthy… at least not by the world’s standards. A man who had a tremendous impact on my life. A man who let his actions speak for him. Actions that displayed: 1) His love of God. 2) His love of Church. 3) His love of Family. A man by the name of Cameron Anderson. On this episode I pay tribute to Cameron “Brother” Anderson. Specifically, I share three stories involving Brother Anderson that inspire me to be better.  To be more like him. If you like GOOD stories about GOOD people… you’ll like this episode. You'll also want to share it with your family and friends 🙂 Thanks! ———————- Want to learn more? 25-28 Supplements That Help Lower Blood Sugar

Jul 9th, 2025 11:00 AM

Episode 25:28 Supplements That Help Lower Blood Sugar One of the questions I am most frequently asked is this: “Are there natural supplements I can take to help lower my blood sugar levels?” On this episode I answer that question. Specifically, I talk about several whole food nutritional products and herbs that I recommend to patients in an attempt to optimize their blood sugar levels. Some of these supplements help directly lower blood sugar levels… others help defeat the desire for sweets… and a few help nourish the organs (brain, pancreas, liver and kidneys) that are involved in blood sugar control. Be sure to give this episode a good listen as the majority of American adults battle with high blood sugar. And, as always, please share this episode with a friend.
