This Week In Southern History: April 4, 1968 - Martin Luther King Jr. Is Assassinated
Taking a different direction, instead of just focusing on Dr King's death, I decided to talk about his whole life. I hope you enjoy the new approach to This Week In Southern History as much as I enjoyed researching and recording it.As always, I am open to the fact that I may have gotten something wrong, whether it be by slip of the tongue, or trusting an incorrect source. I apologize but welcome you to correct me by sending an email to ButterCreamCorey@gmail.comAside from subscribing to WeLoveCorey.com, as you all know in order to be able to put all the work out for free, we also accept additional donations PBS style that can be sent via PayPal to ButterCreamCorey@gmail.com or on Venmo to ButterCreamCorey. These are not required, but are greatly appreciated. Those who can afford to give more help me keep the membership cost cheap at 5 dollars a month, and while I have bills like everyone else, I much prefer that everyone can afford to see my work and be entertained (or pissed off, either is fine:)Thank you all for your continued support. I love you'CoreySources: BooksKing, Martin Luther Jr. Why We Can’t Wait. Harper & Row, 1964.King, Martin Luther Jr. Where Do We Go from Here: Chaos or Community? Beacon Press, 1967.Fairclough, Adam.
