Lily Phillips is one of the most exciting up and coming voices in comedy in the UK. She was a Runner Up at the 2019 Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year, Funny Women Finalist 2018, and was a part of prestigious Pleasance Comedy Reserve at the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. In 2021, she reached the grand final of the BBC New Comedy Awards on BBC One and she was Chortle’s One to Watch 2022. She is a series regular on The Stand Up Sketch Show and The Stand Up Sketch Show Christmas Special (ITV2), and she recently starred in a new hidden camera show for E4 Digital as a fake podcast host. Her credits also include Period Dramas (BBC3), The Joy Of Missing Out (All4), and comedy shorts for Comedy Central Online. She has also debated at the Oxford Union. Lily is also a talented writer and in 2021, her script beat out over 1,000 applicants to be shortlisted as the final 3 in the Funny Women’s Writer’s Award, sponsored by Sky Studios. Doug Allan Tribute - A look back at Ep. 314 with the wildlife cameraman, who died this week

After the extremely sad news of the death of wildlife cameraman Doug Allan this week, we thought we would share his wonderful episode again as a tribute to his extraordinary life and career. It was first released in August 23. Our love and thoughts to his family and friends.Doug Allan was lead cameraman on The Blue Planet, Planet Earth, Life, Human Planet, Frozen Planet, Expedition Iceberg and Forces of Nature and is responsible for some of the most famous wildlife footage ever filmed, including the extraordinary sequence of killer whales creating waves to wash seals off ice floes in Antarctica. He spent much of his career working alongside Sir David Attenborough. Doug has won eight Emmys and four BAFTAs and in 2017 he won an outstanding contribution award at the British Academy Scotland Awards. In 2011 he filmed and was a presenter for the BBC series Ocean Giants about whales worldwide and In 2012 he was one of the presenters on Operation Iceberg, as well as filming many of the sequences in this award winning series. Ep. 576 - Riki Lindhome - Actor, comedian from film Million Dollar Baby and TV Wednesday & Big Bang Theory

Riki Lindhome is an, actor, comedian and musician whose career spans film, television and music. She got her first major break when Tim Robbins cast her in his hit play Embedded, before making her film debut in Million Dollar Baby, directed by Clint Eastwood. She has since appeared in a wide range of projects, includingas Dr. Valerie Kinbott in Wednesday on Netflix, Knives Out alongside Daniel Craig, The Big Bang Theory, Modern Family and Gilmore Girls, as well as films such as The Wolf of Snow Hollow. Alongside her on-screen work, Riki is an accomplished songwriter, writing for series including Scrubs, Duncanville and The Big Bang Theory, and contributing music to films like The LEGO Movie 2, The Addams Family and The SpongeBob Movie. She also earned an Emmy nomination for her song “Frozen Lullaby.” Riki co-created and starred in Comedy Central’s Another Period and the series Garfunkel and Oates, based on her musical comedy duo with Kate Micucci. The duo has amassed over 80 million YouTube views, released three chart-topping comedy albums, and been recognised in the Comedy Hall of Fame. Snows Comedy Star 2022 winner Daniel Edison is a stand-up comedian specialising in one-liners and quickfire puns. He’s been runner-up at the UK Pun Championships for the past 3 years. He recently got through the first round of Britain’s Got Talent, good luck for the next round!
