American Terror: The Horrors of Home

Fireside Radio Theatre's 2017 Halloween broadcast is a collection of three stories that examine the terror lurking in every dark corner of America. Dirk Brannigan, a hardboiled private detective, takes on a case for blonde bombshell client Lottie Carlisle and soon finds himself up to his neck in graft, vice, murder, deceit and dirty cops. Set against a sweltering weekend in 1930s Chicago and featuring an original jazz score, this mystery crime drama pays loving homage to every trope of the noir genre.
