From The Heart of Parents
How do parents balance grieving as individuals while at the same time being there for each other and their other children? Hear from parents Drew and Lisa Shuman as they share how they remained strong for each other and their surviving children after the loss of their beautiful oldest daughter Kayla. You will be inspired by their story of faith and trust in God during this difficult time.
From The Heart Of A Father
How difficult is it for a man to express his feelings on the loss of a love one and why? Men are expected to be strong and taught as a child that men don't cry, says Tim Shuman. The Bible tells us in Matthew 5:4, "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted." It does not say blessed are woman. Men mourn, men hurt, men cry...and it is okay!
Seasons
Get A Grip on the season you are in! No matter what is happening in your life, remember that this too shall pass because seasons change. Trust God in the good season and in the not so good season.
Get A Grip on Pain!
Pain releases the anointing in our lives that enables us to do the things God has called us to do. We must endure the process as good soldiers in the army of the Lord. Grief is a process that we all will go through at some point in our lives. With God's help, we can make it through the darkest of times.
