Dear Podience, Welcome to Chemohawk Sessions, an anthology series podcast. I'm a carbon-based lifeform who got, fought, conquered cancer; fled my droll career to air this passion project. I was restless as an office drone; my cancerous plight confirmed the cost of chasing an unfulfilling career. My first session: White-Collar, Black Belt, offers black belt mastery of white-collar survival through shared experiences, pointers and amusing confessions. I'm Falsetto Prophet, you're Podience;...

Pick 75: Slick, Magic Trick Flick Pick: Hedging The Pledge--Always Leave Them Wanting Gore; Stranger Doppelganger Danger (Forgotten Knots and Bullet Caught Shots); (2 Halves Lie); (The Prestige, 2006)

Jul 8th, 2025 3:08 PM

Let's unwind the grind of reality with Pick 75: Slick, Murderous, Magic Trick Flick Pick: Hedging The Pledge--Always Leave Them Wanting Gore; Stranger Doppelganger Danger (Forgotten Knots and Bullet Caught Shots); (BalefulShowman); (Two Halves of a Full Lie); (The Prestige, 2006). Today, we discuss--when your husband's shady hand wound just won't fucking heal, maybe you are being shortchanged on the story or at least the victim of a raw, rotten deal, who is hotter in form and fashion: Piper or Scarlett? But the irony of this forthcoming rhyme is the sultry, sightly winner between those two blonde ingenue dames, Angier will happily touch the thigh of one, make the other feel betrayed, for these magician's play sick, twisted games, collateral will prove a reasonable synonym for these gals, for Borden and Angiers are no longer pals, and if you recall the touch of Piper's thigh, she will be the same one who drowns onstage and subsequently die, if revenge is a dish best served cold, the reliving your revenge repeatedly, obsessively, for the vast majority of your days must be a fulfilling cold dish meal to behold, whoever said that drowning was like going home must have been the child of a fucked up upbringing and member of an ass backwards household, where the hats are and where the cats wind up is not really of consequence for they are all Angier's hat and they are all Tesla's sneaky, slinking cat, how a short oriental man balances a massive fishbowl between his thighs is not the trick, pretending to be old, feeble and useless every day of his life, both onstage and off, that is the real deception and the duplicitous, vigorous magic and whenever your dark doppelganger stranger fucking danger runs towards you and begs you to WAIT, you could lower your gun, hear him out and allow him to become your bunk fucking mate.   -Your worthwhile cinephile: you can take the electricity out of the showman of the magician, but you can't extract themagician from the otherworldly electrician: Falsetto Prophet and there is a catch to his bullet catch, for nefarious schemes he will hatch and the ensuing violence will leave more a scar than a scratch: Brother Brooks!P.S. (Procrastinated Statement) *Intro/outro song, Soulicious, courtesy of the artist, Dyalla.F.C.F.U. In Islam, jinn are supernatural beings that exist alongside humans, but are invisible and form a world separate from humans. The Qur'an confirms the existence of jinn, and they are also known as genies. Jinn are said to be made of smokeless flame, similar to how humans are made of earth. They are believed to be less physical and virtuous than humans, but they have the same ability to choose between good and evil, and must face salvation or damnation. **Along with obsession, this film also wrestles with revenge, perfection, self-sacrifice and unheeded warnings...why does this film feel so profound and what are the cautionary tales you extracted from its key messages? Brother Brooks: I think you get envy, greed, revenge, obsession, covetousness. I think what you ultimately see is a 7 sins. So it provides some sin that you may harbor yourself, you see it in a character. **Who is more dedicated to their craft? Jackman or Bale. Ties are allowed here too. Consider all possibilities. Brother Brooks: I think Bale wins on this. Bale dies to protect his secret. Jackman is willing to kill for his. A lot of thingsin this world would we kill for, but there are very few things that I would die for. I think there is a lot of allegory for this situation and how it applies across the spectrum. What level of desperation does one have to be in to kill something? I feel like we can also add the layer that Jackman thinks Bale isdoing the same and therefore it’s okay.

Lecture 20: Faux Poet: Any Port in a Brainstorm (Connecting the Dots to Scribbled Thoughts)--How to Commit What Matters to Your Long Term Memory (Gracious Guest Lecture with Brother Art, an Artist)

Jun 29th, 2025 1:39 PM

Greetings Faux Poets and Writer Ghosts,Welcome Brother Art! “The fatal misconception behind brainstorming is that there is a particular script we should all follow in group interactions...The most creative spaces are those which hurl us together. It is the human friction that makes the sparks.”--Jonah Lehrer"Here is to dressing to impress and committing to the capital A art form, to deviating from the predictable norm, to writing satisfying words that cold spells warm, weathering the writer's block storm, for there is, indeed, any port in a brainstorm and not just dropping your words in a linear flow, but attacking all of the audience's senses with a lyrical swarm!" Cheers brother Art!Remember: "It is only in the vast, black dark you just might glean a spark and use that illumination to add elation to the bleak, the dim, the stark." Faux Poe OUT!(Procrastinated Statement) *Intro/outro song, Time to Spare, courtesy of the artist, An JoneF.C.F.U. (Fact-Check Follow Up)Coco Chanel advised, "Before you leave the house, look in the mirror and remove one accessory." This is about over-accessorizing and creating a balanced, elegant look. The specific accessory that needs to be removed would depend on the individual's outfit and the overall style they are going for.The term "Imposter Phenomenon," now commonly known as "Imposter Syndrome," was first coined by psychologists Pauline Rose Clance and Suzanne Imes in 1978 describing an internal experience of doubting one's abilities, even when there is external evidence of success.

Pick 74: Slick Flick Pick: Whore for the Fedora--Back-Alley Deal, Wounds that Won't Heal (Trust No Trollop); (Folk Antihero); (Trenchcoats, Tommy Guns and Violent Bank Runs); (Public Enemies, 2009)

Jun 21st, 2025 2:14 PM

Let's unwind the grind of reality with Pick 74: Slick Flick Pick: Whore for the Fedora--Back-Alley Deal and Wounds that Won't Heal (Trust Not the Trollop); (Folk Antihero); (Trenchcoats, Tommy Guns and Violent Bank Runs); (Public Enemies, 2009).Today, we discuss--whoever said you can't fire a machine gun whilst hanging onto the roof of an old model car in full sleek trench coat garb and make it look easy as fuck is a nimrod or dishonest, what is the point of pilfering all of those greenbacks if you blow all of it on top shelf booze and bottom shelf cooze, where are the silencers when as an audience member, you would have an easier time hearing the spontaneous commands the men shout at each other if they had a suppressor on their machineguns, oh, who am I kidding, much like the middle of the day L.A. robbery in Heat, I fancy the bombastic gunplay, when you tell all of the hookers, who live their lives pretending to be something they are not through prevarication, mirroring and mimicry, you can't be surprised when one drops a dime and accelerates your first and final back alley rendezvous with father fucking death time, why couldn't the lodge shootout been elongated by 20 fucking minutes and the scenes with Marion fugly fuck you Cotillard, the peevish retard who pissed me off in: Inception, The Dark Knight Rises, this flick and probably Contagion as well, be abridged to the extreme or cut entirely from this slick flick, like Heat, I don't give a purple headed rabbit fuck about the women on the side, I want to see how the crooks evade the law and take the shootouts in fucking stride! -Your worthwhile cinephile: you can be a whore andyou can wear a fedora, but it a rarity indeed to be labeled a whore for the Fedora, Falsetto Prophet and she's not a trollop or a strumpet, but for Johnny Depp she is happy to wrap a yellow ribbon around the old oak tree to welcome his arrival, sing to his tune and play for him a trumpet, Red Devil!P.S. (Procrastinated Statement) *Intro/outro song, Soulicious, courtesy of the artist, Dyalla.F.C.F.U. The Banking Act of 1933, which created the FDIC, was signed by President Roosevelt on June 16, 1933.
