David (Davy) Crockett - Life and Times

David Crockett (1786-1836) was an American frontiersman, soldier, politician, and folk hero. He is best known for his role in the Texas Revolution and his death at the Battle of the Alamo.Crockett was born in Tennessee and grew up on the frontier.
