Deaths By Anabolic Steroids

Jun 21st, 2022 1:47 PM

Even Salt Looks Like Sugar is a true crime podcast which explores the darkness of the world and the reality in which we live. Join your host Billy Housh for our twentieth episode. Episode 20: Deaths By Anabolic Steroids Steroids are naturally occurring compounds that our body produces normally. In order to grow, maintain, or even achieve a certain level of energy, strength, and mass, these chemicals are essentially vital to the human body. Not only do they protect, prevent, and repair various forms of DNA damage, as well as, environmental stressors, they boost blood electrolyte levels, protect your immune system, improve your metabolism, and regulate stress responses. These organic lipids stimulate brain health and balance our hormones. Additionally, they also play an eminent role in our body’s reproductive system and heavily contribute to both the evolution and preservation of the human race. But what happens when this isn’t enough and one wants to achieve more? What happens when the quest to perfection turns deadly? Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (commonly referred to as anabolic steroids) are lab-created, synthetic byproducts used to create strength, endurance, and muscle mass. Although some of the effects are reversible when taking these artificial substances, most of the adverse effects are permanent. And it is because of this, they are completely banned from selling in stores and by numerous organizations. But the real question is—what happens when one’s life is cut short by their relentless and reckless use these man-made substances? Join me today as I take you through the deaths caused by anabolic steroids.
