Do you like it when someone pushes their point of view on you? Probably not. Do you push back, agree or withdraw? This week we dive deeper into Viewpoints. Every person sees the world differently based on their experiences, culture and environment. When people fail to see each others' viewpoint, it results in conflict or disruption. If you want more freedom, this tool can set you free. If you can see the world from someone else's viewpoint, which doesn't mean agreeing, you will have more flexibility and joy in your life. Can you understand their perspective given how they are seeing the world? Does it make sense given that viewpoint? Be open! Again, you don't have to agree just understand. We are all doing the best we can given our tools, understanding and history. Give others space to have their point of view without making them wrong. You'll find doors opening up in your life. The more people feel heard, the better they show up for themselves, friends, family and community.
