Erica Robbins with SEMO Food Bank and Angela Head with Mercy Southeast join Darren to chat about the Produce Prescription Program. The Southeast Missouri (SEMO) Food Bank's Produce Prescription Program partners with healthcare providers like Mercy to provide free, seasonal fruits and vegetables to food-insecure patients with chronic health conditions. Patients are referred by their Mercy provider and can pick up produce twice a month, along with nutrition education, recipes, and cooking opportunities. Experience an evening of jazz, funk, soul, and R&B as award-winning vocalist Michaele Postell graces Scout Hall on April 11. Known for her interpretations of jazz legends, Postell will pay homage to icons Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, and Sarah Vaughan in her Underground Jazz performance. The concert will also feature a preview of original music from Postell’s highly anticipated debut album, set to release in 2025. Blending her classical training and passion for jazz, she brings a unique and fresh energy to the genre, creating a fusion of timeless elegance and contemporary innovation.
