Boris Prilutsky has been teaching and practicing medical and sports massage for the last 40 years. He is the founder of the South California Health Institute school of massage, physical therapy aide and chiropractor assistants program in Los Angeles, California. He graduated from the Pedagogic Institute of Higher Education in Vinnitsa, Ukraine, degree in physical education, completed postgraduate physical rehabilitation study at Lesgofft Institute of former Leningrad, graduated from Medical College in Ramat-Gan, Israel, with a major in chiropractic medicine. The first 20 years of his career, he spent working with Olympian teams of the former Soviet Union. Boris has trained thousands of therapists worldwide. He also treats patients with various neural, muscular and skeletal disorders at his offices at San Fernando Valley as well as at Beverly Hills, California. When teaching classes, Boris sharing not only book knowledge, but most important clinical experiences from the treatment room. Note: due to some difficulties during recording we decided to reduce the time of the interview, but we’ll have Boris for another session soon. Chris Balsley MA, LPC, PCC has maintained a thriving and diverse professional coaching, presenting and somatic counseling practice for almost thirty years. Chris’s clients include leaders at all levels in organizations, from high-level government and military officials to executives in Fortune 500 companies. He has presented in the United States, Asia, Mexico and Europe and he has been interview on television and radio shows. Susan G. Salvo is a massage therapist with 30 years of experience. As an author,Susan has written several best selling massage textbooks, online courses, and instructional youtube videos. She is currently working on her Masters degree in Educational Leadership and Instructional Technology. Susan was a task force member for the Massage Therapy Body of Knowledge Project. She is on the advisory board for the American Pregnancy Massage Association. In 2011, Susan was named Teacher of the Year during the World Massage Festival. She holds membership in several prestigious associations and societies and is very passionate about massage therapy and massage education. Dr Jeffrey Kiker, ND is a Naturopathic Physician with over 20 years in natural/alternative health care field and enjoys working with patients, teaching and exploring new ideas. He maintains a private practice as clinical director of Holistic Therapies Naturopathic Health Center incorporating bodywork and Naturopathic medicine in Evergreen, CO with his wife, also a ND and 1 year old baby girl. He holds several degrees; a Doctorate from National College of Naturopathic Medicine (NCNM) 2008. Post-graduate studies in women’s health and bHRT, BS Biology, Philosophy minor, Metro State College Denver (MSCD) 2002, CMT Boulder College of Massage Therapy (BCMT) 1996. He has had the opportunity to teach human sciences under extraordinary mentors at BCMT, MSCD and NCNM where he began to develop his own coursework. In addition to his clinical duties he currently holds an adjunct faculty teaching position at BCMT teaching A /P& Pathology, and hosts Holistic Therapies a weekly natural medicine radio show. He has also worked at the national level on several legislative initiatives focused on Naturopathic medicine.
